Under Honda Vietnam Company’s scheme, 20,000 motorcycle helmets will be provided free of charge to nationwide residents during the year 2020.

Chief of the NTSC Secretariat Nguyen Trong Thai highlighted Honda Vietnam’s annual programme to increase awareness of mandatory helmet use under Viet Nam’s regulations amongst the general public in Viet Nam in a bid to reduce the risk of death and head injuries from road crashes while riding a motorcycle.

Mr Trong said that the Honda Vietnam Company developed its annual motorcycle helmet giving programme in 2015, and a total of 110,000 helmets have been provided free of charge for residents across the country over the past 5 years.
