Hospitality staff in the city attend training courses
As many as 60 employees from 20 tourism businesses across Da Nang have attended training courses on housekeeping services meeting the Viet Nam Tourism Occupational Skills Standards (VTOS), and on sales skills / services / travel products through online travel agencies (OTAs).

Participating tourism businesses included the Cong Doan Thanh Binh Hotel, the King's finger Hotel, the Saigontourane Hotel, the A La Carte Danang Beach, the Pullman Danang Beach Resort, the Furama Resort Danang, and the Phuong Dong Viet Hotel.
President of the Da Nang Confederation of Labour Nguyen Duy Minh highlighted the training courses to enhance the professional skills of the hospitality staff in an effort to improve the quality of tourism services in the city.
Vice Chairman of the municipal Hotels’ Association Nguyen Duc Quynh said an OTA is a third party website that allows users to book various travel related services directly via Internet, including hotels, cars, flights and vacation packages. Mr Quynh underlined the importance of the OTA training courses in helping tourism service providers realise the vital role of OTA to enable traveller to make their travel reservation.
Being one of trainees of the OTA training course, Le Thanh Quyet from the Cong Doan Thanh Binh Hotel said the training course has helped him understand more about benefits of OTA.
Ms Tran Thi Thanh from the King's finger Hotel highlighted the importance of the housekeeping training course to improve housekeeping skills of hospitality staff in the city.
