There were no new cases reported in Viet Nam on June 11 morning, and the country has gone 56 days without a domestically transmitted infection with no deaths, the Committee said.

In total, 192 of the confirmed cases were overseas arrivals, and they were quarantined on arrival.

There are 12 Covid-19 patients currently in hospitals nationwide, of whom, three tested negative for the virus once, and test results came back negative for another one at least twice.

Currently, a total of 9,226 people who are close contacts of coronavirus carriers and arrivals from pandemic-hit areas are under quarantine across the country.

The most severe case, the British pilot who is receiving treatment at the HCM City-based Cho Ray Hospital, also showed impressive recovery./.
