No community cases in Viet Nam for 48 straight days
The latest Viet Nam's National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control update, released on Wednesday morning, there are no new cases of Covid-19 today, and there have been no signs of community transmission for 48 straight days since April 16. .

The country has remained unchanged in its case numbers at 328.
In total, 188 of those confirmed cases were overseas arrivals, and they were quarantined on arrival.
Overall, 298 patients, or almost 91% of the total confirmed cases in Viet Nam, have recovered from the illness, and there have been no coronavirus deaths in Viet Nam till date.
There are 30 Covid-19 patients currently in hospitals nationwide, of whom, five tested negative for the virus once, and test results came back negative for five others at least twice.
Currently, 8,169 people are under quarantine across the country, including 103 in hospitals, 7,104 in other quarantine facilities, and 962 at home.
Regarding the most severe case – Patient 91, a British man treated at the Cho Ray Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City, his health has shown much improvement, the treatment sub-committee said, noting that he has gained full consciousness and been able to respond to all instructions by health workers./.
