No community cases in Viet Nam for 52 days
There were no new coronavirus (Covid-19) cases reported in Viet Nam for an entire 24-hour period as of the morning of June 7, and the country has remained unchanged in its case numbers at 329, the latest official data released by Viet Nam's National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control.

Viet Nam has recorded no new domestic transmissions for 52 consecutive days.
In total, 189 of those confirmed cases were overseas arrivals, and they were quarantined on arrival.
Overall, 307 patients, or 93.3% of the total confirmed cases in Viet Nam, have recovered from the illness, and there have been no coronavirus deaths in Viet Nam till date.
There are 22 Covid-19 patients currently in hospitals nationwide, of whom, nine remain sick, ten tested negative for the virus once, and test results came back negative for three others at least twice.
Currently, a total of 9,088 people who are close contacts of coronavirus carriers and arrivals from pandemic-hit areas are under quarantine across the country, including 72 at hospitals, 7,150 at designated sites, and 1,866 at home.
