No new Covid-19 cases in Viet Nam in past 24 hours

There have been no new confirmed cases of coronavirus in Viet Nam in the past 24 hours as of the morning of 10 June, according to statistics from Viet Nam's National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control.

It means the total number of cases in Viet Nam still stands at 332, with no deaths.

There have been no signs of community transmission in the country for 55 straight days since April 16. 

In total, 192 of the confirmed cases were overseas arrivals, and they were quarantined on arrival.

Till date, 317 patients, or or 95.5 percent of Viet Nam's confirmed cases have recovered.

There are 15 Covid-19 patients currently in hospitals nationwide, of whom, three tested negative for the virus once, and test results came back negative for three others twice or more.

Currently, a total of 9,136 people who are close contacts of coronavirus carriers and arrivals from pandemic-hit areas are under quarantine across the country.
