It means the total number of cases in Viet Nam still stands at 335, with no deaths, the Committee said.

The country has gone 63 consecutive days without a domestically transmitted infection.

In total, 195 of the confirmed cases were overseas arrivals, and they were quarantined on arrival.

Statistics released by the Committee show that Viet Nam has seen 325 people recover from the deadly illness. This means the percentage of patients who have recovered from the coronavirus in the country currently reaches 97.

Four of the remaining 10 patients have tested negative for the coronavirus at least twice.

Currently, 6,285 people who are close contacts of coronavirus carriers and arrivals from pandemic-hit areas are under quarantine across the country.

The British pilot, known as Vietnam’s 91st COVID-19 patient, has experienced a miraculous recovery. His lungs have recovered 90 percent, while his kidneys, heart, liver, and pancreatic enzymes are back to normal. He can also move his hands and use a mobile phone.

He was the most critical COVID-19 patient in Viet Nam and tested negative for the virus at least six times./.
