No new Covid-19 cases recorded in Viet Nam

No new coronavirus cases have been recorded across Viet Nam in the past 24 hours, according to figures released by Viet Nam's National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control on 29 June morning.

The total number of coronavirus cases in Viet Nam remains at 355 with 330 recoveries and no deaths.

Viet Nam has seen no new locally transmitted cases for 74 straight days, the Committee said.

In total, 215 of the confirmed cases were overseas arrivals, and they were quarantined on arrival.

There are 25 Covid-19 patients currently in hospitals nationwide, of whom, five  tested negative for the virus once, and test results came back negative for five others at least twice.

Currently, 10,027 people who are close contacts of coronavirus carriers and arrivals from pandemic-hit areas are under medical monitoring or quarantine at medical facilities and home. across the country.
