Over 200 volunteers join beach and Son Tra Peninsula clean-up event

As part of Viet Nam’s national ‘Action Month for the Environment’ campaign, more than 200 volunteers across Da Nang joined beach and Son Tra Peninsula clean-up operation on Sunday morning.

They carried out cleanups on the East Sea Park, the My Khe sewer, a section of beach sketching from the Temple Da Nang Resort to Tho Quang Beach, roads leading to the ‘Ho Xanh’ (Green Lake) tourist area and the Linh Ung Pagoda, a section of Nguyen Tat Thanh Street between its intersection of Ton That Dam and Phu Loc Bridge, and the Bai Nam tourist area.

The event aims to raise public awareness about preserving and promoting the sustainable development of the Son Tra Peninsula, as well as protecting marine environment.
