A pangolin (Manis Javanica) which had strayed into a military facility in Da Nang, has been rescued, the Da Nang Forest Protection Department said.

After the pangolin was spotted, the military facility staff asked rescuers from the municipal Forest Protection Department to capture the stray animal.

After that, rescuers have taken the stray pangolin to the Organism Rescue, Conservation and Development Centre of the Cuc Phuong National Park for shelter and care before releasing it into its natural habitat.
