Viet Nam reports no new locally transmitted infection cases for 69 days
No new cases of coronavirus were recorded in Viet Nam on June 24 morning, Viet Nam's National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control said.

Viet Nam has gone 69 consecutive days without a domestically transmitted infection, and has registered a total of 349 cases, with no deaths.
One of the remaining 21 patients in Viet Nam who tested positive for coronavirus have been discharged from hospital, taking the total of patients given the all-clear to 329 till date, the Committee said. This means 94.3 percent of the cases in the county have made a full recovery from the illness.
In total, 209 of the confirmed cases were overseas arrivals, and they were quarantined on arrival.
There are 20 Covid-19 patients currently in hospitals nationwide, of whom, two tested negative for the virus once, and test results came back negative for three others at least twice.
Currently, only 15 patients test positive for the coronavirus.
Overall, 6,318 people who are close contacts of coronavirus carriers and arrivals from pandemic-hit areas are under quarantine across the country.
