On Monday, representatives from the Viet Nam Youth Federation, the Da Nang Youth Union and the CP Viet Nam Livestock JSC together donated 200,000 surgical masks to hospitals and medical centres across Da Nang to support frontline healthcare workers in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

The receivers are district-level medical centres, the Maternity and Paediatrics Hospital, the Da Nang General Hospital and the C Hospital.

In addition, 100,000 other masks will be given to pupils who will sit the National Senior High school Graduation Examination 2020 at 24 schools citywide, and to local workers.
