All the isolation rooms in the facility meet the strict regulations regarding disinfection, environmental sanitation, and waste collection and disposal.

Mr Phan Trinh, Head of the Lien Chieu District Health Office, said that during their quarantine period, the quarantined people have their body temperature measured by medical staff here twice or thrice a day. If anyone here develops or starts to show symptoms of fever, they will be immediately taken to designated hospitals for treatment.

The quarantined people are required to use face coverings and refrain from talking during their quarantine period. Also, they are asked to gargle with salt water, along with keeping the hands, foot and face clean to prevent the spread of virus infections.

During their isolation period, the quarantined people are served with 3 meals/ day. Meal menus are changed daily to ensure good nutrition in order to help the isolated increase resistance against infections.

According to guidelines of the Vietnamese Ministry of Health, close contacts of coronavirus carriers, classified as F1 cases, must be quarantined in designated quarantine facilities.  Meanwhile, those who have direct contact with F1 people, also known as F2 cases, are allowed to be quarantined at home.
