During the 1^st month of Da Nang’s ongoing landmark tourism stimulus programme themed ‘Da Nang Thank You 2020’, from 23 May to 23 June, local tourist attractions welcomed a total of 191,000 visitors.

In detail, the SunWorld Ba Na Hills resort received 130,000 visitors, whilst the Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park attracted 33,000 vacationers. In addition, visitor numbers to such top tourist venues as the Marble Mountains Tourist Area, the Museum of Da Nang and the Museum of Cham Sculpture hit 28,000 each.

In the first half of this year, domestic and international visitor arrivals in the city reached over 1.49 million. Of this figure, over 598,000 are foreigners and 893,000 are domestic tourists.

The city’s tourism earnings reached 5,952 billion VND over a six-month period. Particularly, the total number of tourists staying at local serviced accommodation establishments in the first half of the year stood at over 1.1 million.
