Da Nang government has lifted social isolation measures from 0am on 25 September with most businesses resuming operations as Da Nang’s Covid-19 outbreak has been successfully contained. Noticeably, discotheque, bar, pub, karaoke and massage services are now allowed to reopen.

Nevertheless, measures such as wearing face masks and observing strict hygiene standards remain in place.

All people across Da Nang are required to ensure good practice of the Health Ministry’s message featuring 5K (in Vietnamese): namely ‘Khau trang’ (Face mask) – ‘Khu khuan’ (Disinfection) – ‘Khoang cach’ ‘Distance’ - ‘Khong tu tap’ (No gathering) – ‘Khai bao y te’ (Health Declaration).

People in Da Nang are advised to wear face coverings when in public places, clean hands often with soaps and alcohol-based disinfectants, maintain a safe distance from anyone they do not live with when outside their home, minimise unnecessary gatherings in public places, and make regular health declarations.

In particular, it is highly recommended to continue using the Bluetooth-based contract tracing app which helps notify if its users have come into contact with a Covid-19 patient, and the nCOVI app for health declaration and monitoring.

Anyone who shows such symptoms as cough, fever and shortness of breath can contact Ministry of Health's support helpline for free advice at 1900-9095 and 1900-3228.

Till date, Da Nang has reported 27rd consecutive day with no community transmission, with new corinavirus cases putting down to zero.
