The power supply has been restored partially in some parts of Central Viet Nam.
Persistent heavy rain in some parts of Central Viet Nam has triggered widespread flooding which left thousands of properties without power.
As of late Sunday afternoon, around 47,000 homes in Central Viet Nam have had their power restored. However, more than 233,000 properties in heavily flooded localities across Central Viet Nam remain without power.
Due to the extreme weather conditions with quick-rising floodwaters, 2,159 electricity substations in heavily flooded localities across Central Viet Nam have been temporarily switched off in a bid to ensure the ultimate safety of their customers.
