Around three weeks after the 28 October deadly disaster in remote mountainous Tra Leng Commune, Nam Tra My District, Quang Nam Province, more than 100 pupils of the namesake ethnic minority boarding primary school have made their school comebacks. Meanwhile, post-catastrophe recovery efforts and humanitarian relief operations are underway in a rush in an attempt to bring the landslide victims back to normal life with more secure future.

In haste, despite tough trips on an 18km-long dangerous road to the landslide scene, special vehicles carrying relief persistently ran bumper-to-bumper towards the unfortunate fates of the natural blow.

Below are photos taken by our reporters reflecting how the Tra Leng landslide victims have struggled to recover from the unforgettable catastrophe deep rooted in their minds.
