Fifteen out of more than 200 press works created this year by journalists from Da Nang-based media agencies were honoured for covering the city’s highly-effective landmark development strategies in the Thursday awards ceremony.

The entries were classified into three topic categories, namely ‘2020: The year of promoting investment attraction’, ‘Da Nang - Environmentally-friendly city’, and 'City of 4 Safe Programmes'.

In the end, three first, three second, three third and six consolation prizes were awarded to outstanding entries.

In particular, talented reporter Tran Thi Kim Phuong from the Da Nang Newspaper reaped a consolation prize for her own article in the topic category of ‘Da Nang - Environmentally-friendly city’.

There is no denying that all of the participating entries made the outstanding contribution to widely publicising Da Nang government’s landmark guidelines and policies, and creating high public consensus for the city’s socio-economic progress strides.
