Nineteen groups and twenty-eight individuals across Central Viet Nam have been honoured in Da Nang for their commitment and dedication to Viet Nam's fight against the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The honouring ceremony was co-hosted by the Ho Chi Minh City-headquartered ‘Tuoi tre’ (Youth) Newspaper and the Da Nang Youth Union.
The honourees who served on the frontline in the battle against COVID-19 were medical workers, police and military officers, and volunteers. They were willing to sacrifice their personal interests and leave their beloved families to join the frontline in tough battle against coronavirus with an aim of helping the country win the fight against the virus.
