Environmental impact assessment report on over 219 million US$ international hospital complex in Da Nang approved

The Da Nang government has approved the environmental impact assessment (EIA) report on a high quality international hospital complex in Hoa Quy Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District.

Developed by the HDI Joint Stock Company - Da Nang High Quality International Hospital, the 219.3 million US$ project covers a total area of 10.79ha, bordering Nam Ky Khoi Nghia street to the north and Mai Dang Chon street to the west.

The project will feature a 8-storey diagnostic building with 250 hospital beds, a 8-storey building for rehabilitation, relaxation and residence for the complex’s staff with a combined total of 100 rooms, 4-storey private medical office area, a 4-storey managerial administration and education area, a 4-storey convention and cinema venue, a 4-storey commercial service site and 8-storey accommodation and resort venue with a total of 75 rooms.

Apart from the above-mentioned key construction segments, the project is designed with a wastewater collection system and a centralised wastewater treatment system with a daily capacity of 600m3 using biological treatment technology.

Da Nang government has required the project’s developer to strictly comply with Viet Nam's national regulations on construction, land use, scientific and technological technologies, water resources and environmental protection during all construction activities.

Heed must be paid to ensuring there are no negative impacts on the natural environment, in tandem with implementing environmental protection solutions in compliance with the national standards.

The project was awarded an investment policy decision by the Da Nang leaders at the 2017 Da Nang Investment Forum, with an operation term of 50 years.
