Da Nang-based 199 Hospital offers free Covid-19 testing for returnees from pandemic-hit areas
On Monday afternoon, the Da Nang-based 199 Hospital under Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security provided free-of-charge Covid-19 testing for staff of the A32 Factory under the Ministry of Defence who returned to Da Nang from pandemic-hit areas in Viet Nam after Tet breaks.

The move clearly demonstrated Da Nang's efforts in stemming the spread of the virus amid the recent Covid-19 resurgence in some parts of Viet Nam.

Before and after the week-long Tet holiday, the hospital’s medical workers have taken more than 1,000 samples of its staff, plus officers and men who are working for city-based units under Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security, and other units across Da Nang, for Covid-19 testing. As a result, all of them have tested negative for new strain of the virus.
