These checkpoints are on a section of Highway 1A (at the Tu Cau T-junction, Hoa Phuoc Commune, Hoa Vang District), on a part of the DT605 road leading to the Bo Bo Pine Forest, and on a section of National Highway No 14B ( near the Da Nang-Quang Ngai Expressway).

Healthcare workers, police officers, border guards, and volunteer students are staffing these checkpoints around the clock.

Mr Chinh also encouraged them to continue their efforts to uphold their high sense of responsibility to fulfill their assigned tasks in order to keep Da Nang out of the coronavirus, hereby ensuring a happy and peaceful Tet for the public across the city.

All arrivals to Da Nang, including foreigners, from other parts of Viet Nam are required to wear face coverings, fill out health declaration forms, and provide contact details and their Da Nang address in a bid to help local health officials to contact them if they have been in contact with suspected or confirmed case of the virus.
