On behalf of the Da Nang authorities, Deputy Director of the Department of Natural Resources and the Environment Vo Nguyen Chuong on Monday presented a reward of 2 million to Du Thi Be, a female worker at the Hai Chau District Environmental Establishment under the Da Nang Urban Environment JSC. Be has found and returned a valuable mobile phone to its owner who unintentionally dropped it on the street on 7 February.

In another worth praising case, Nguyen Cuong, a male sanitation worker was honoured by the Da Nang Urban Environment JSC for having returned a wallet left on the street to its owner in late last month.

The recipients were both very delighted to get their missing properties back. They thanked the sanitation workers, and praised them for their kindness and honesty.

The honourees were highly appreciated and commended for their good deeds. Besides, like their co-workers from the Da Nang Urban Environment JSC, these people have been actively involved in cleaning up main roads and collecting domestic waste in a bid to ensure the green, clean and beautiful urban landscape before, during and after Tet.
