Viet Nam's national meteorologist has predicted that the whole country would enjoy a favourable weather condition on Lunar New Year’ Eve, and Tet (Lunar New Year) 2021 break as a whole, Da Nang, of course, is no exception.

Today, 10 February, is seeing a sharp decrease in rainfall in Central Viet Nam, including Da Nang, a good signal of rainless days during the Tet festival, the Mid-Central Region Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting has said.

A vast stretch from Quang Binh to Thua Thien Hue are now bracing for the cold weather, whilst some parts from Da Nang to Quang Ngai, encouragingly, are experiencing a bit higher mercury.

Of special note, Da Nang is highly likely to see a bit cold just felt in the early morning and at late nigh in some of its parts in the next few days, the regional forecasters projected.

In the mainland of Central Viet Nam, a vast stretch from Quang Binh to Quang Ngai provinces are now bracing for winds at levels 2 - 3, with a bit stronger gale in coastal areas.

Meanwhile, waters off these central regional areas are now experiencing scattered rains, strong winds at levels 5 - 6, with a gust of level 7, sea waves from 1.5 - 2m high, a strong rough sea.

Interestingly, according to the popular fanpage ‘Thoi tiet Da Nang’ (The Weather in Da Nang) in the coming Tet days, especially the three official Tet days, from 12 to 15 February, Da Nang is highly likely to see pleasantly warmer weather with some sunshine in the daytime and a bit cold airs at night and in the early morning.

There will be the lows of 16 -18 degrees Celsius at night and in the early morning, and the highs of 25 – 27 degrees Celsius in the daytime across Da Nang.
