Most of employees working for Da Nang businesses return to work after Tet breaks

Many Da Nang-based businesses resumed their operations on Wednesday (the 6th day of the 1st lunar month), after the week-long Tet holiday. Most of them have set targets for boosting more-realistic growth and increasing production efficiency since the beginning of the lunar new year.

All most of employees of the Hai Chau District-based DINCO Technical Construction JSC were available at their company on the first working day after Tet.

General Director of DINCO Le Truong Ky said his company now has 400 employees in total, including 250 engineers and architects. He added that, despite being affected by COVID-19, his company still earned 1,300 billion VND in revenue last year, being the same as 2019.

This year, DINCO strives to earn 1,470 billion VND in revenue, and provide English training courses for its employees in a bid to help them to enhance their foreign skills.

Likewise, the Tokyo Keiki Precision Technology Co., Ltd., located at the Hoa Vang District-based Hi-Tech Park, welcomed over 90% of its total workers back to work on the 1st working day after the most important and longest holiday of Vietnamese people.

Despite the complicated developments of the coronavirus pandemic, DINCO's production remained stable last year. The company has already received orders from its traditional customers through the end of the 1st quarter.

Meanwhile, an enthusiastic working atmosphere was seen at the Thuan Phuoc Seafood and Trading JSC.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company Tran Van Linh remarked his company exported 10,000 tonnes of shrimps in 2020, an increase of 15% against 2019, and earned a combined total of 100 million USD in revenue.

“This year, the Thuan Phuoc Seafood and Trading company has set its goals of exporting 16,000 tonnes of shrimps, and earning 150 million USD in revenue. In its effort to realise this target, the company will recruit more employees in the coming time”, Mr Linh said.

Last December, the Daiwa Vietnam Co., Ltd, officially started construction work on its new sports equipment production facility in the Hoa Khanh Industrial Park. The construction work is expected to be completed in December 2021.

Director of the Daiwa Vietnam Co., Ltd, Nguyen Van Phu said, in 2020, Daiwa Vietnam’s revenue increased by 20% against 2019 from exporting 3 million fishing rods and rotors to its traditional foreign consumer markets, namely the USA, Australia, Germany, France and Singapore.

Mr Phu also said that Daiwa Vietnam has already received many orders from its traditional customers. Therefore, all the workers have to exert their efforts to complete orders as scheduled. In the coming time, the company will recruit more 300 employees in a bid to expand its production activities during the year.

“Top priority will be given to ensuring the realisation of Viet Nam's national government-mandated dual goal of strictly practicing protective measures against COVID-19 in tandem with driving the company’s growth” emphasised Director Phu.
