Work commenced on Wednesday on a 200 million VND playground for children in Con Mong Village, Hoa Phuoc Commune, suburban Hoa Vang District, Da Nang.

Developed by Da Nang Youth Union (YU), the new development will be a healthy and useful public playground for local children.

To marke the occasion, the organisation donated 20 Tet in-kind gifts, valuated at 200,000 VND each, to poor studious pupils in Hoa Phuoc Commune.

Also on the same day, the Da Nang YU partnered with the YU organisations of Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones, the city’s Export Processing Zone and the Thuan Phuoc Seafood and Trading JSC, to offer 300 coach tickets to poor workers in order to help them return to their hometowns to celebrate Tet with their families.

Previously, representatives from the municipal YU, the Students' Association and the city-based VITRACO Tourism & Transportation Connection Co., Ltd., had presented free coach tickets to 30 poor students to help them return their homes in other parts of the country to celebrate the upcoming Tet Festival.
