The refurbishment and traffic rearrangement of the Ngo Quyen - Ngu Hanh Son route in Da Nang are underway and progressing smoothly. The work is expected to be completed in December in a bid to ensure traffic safety of road users on the route.

Previously, Da Nang government had agreed to provide a total of 189 billion VND in funding to refurbish and rearrange traffic on the Ngo Quyen - Ngu Hanh Son route.

Under the refurbishment work, focus will be on removing all existing concrete median strips and creating new ones with assembled reinforced concrete structures, asphalting the road surface, and placing the existing manholes underground. Also, overhead power and telecommunications cables will be replaced by underground ones.

As for traffic rearrangement, main roads will be designated for cars and container trucks, whilst frontage roads running parallel to these main streets will be exclusively for motorcycles, bicycles, rudimentary vehicles, and small-sized cars.

Besides, traffic lights and some necessary sorts of road signs will be installed along the route.

Below are some photos about the ongoing refurbishment and traffic rearrangement work on the Ngo Quyen - Ngu Hanh Son route.
