In recent years, the post of Food Blogger who talks about his or her experiences with food or cooking and posts them in an online blog has gradually become popular and interested by many young people, especially gourmets. In Da Nang, Nothingtoeat and Ryanfoodaholic are the two most prominent which have successfully found their niche in Da Nang Food Blogger community, attracting a large number of followers on such social media channels as Instagram and Facebook.

The duo, Ha Vy and Nhu Thang from Phuoc My Ward, Son Tra District, now co-owns an Instagram account named Nothingtoeat with more than 56,000 followers.

First and foremost, a recognition that food blogging is different than food writing, or even reporting on food issues. It’s not that food bloggers don’t write or report, but rather that they do so with a different (and often more relentless) rhythm.

Starting working as Food Bloggers since April 2017, two young people, Ha Vy and Nhu Thang, both aged 24, hailing from Phuoc My Ward, Son Tra District, now co-own an Instagram account named Nothingtoeat with more than 56,000 followers who tune in to watch them try some of Da Nang’s renowned delicacies.

This great food blog goes beyond restaurants, recipes, scenes, celebrities, or a trending pieces of news. It has a voice. It has ideas. It becomes a dialogue with readers and with the subjects it covers

The duo have liked going out to eat and then shared online photos of the dishes on social media as a way to keep memories. Step by step, each post attracted a great deal of attraction from netizens.

Many young people visited Vy and Thang's personal pages to look for places offering delicious yet affordably-paid food with easy-to-follow recipes. Fully aware of this fact, both decided to focus on images and writings more carefully and elaborately. As their passion for healthy eating grew, they set up Nothingtoeat.

Besides satisfying their passion for food, great support and high applause from everyone is a great motivation for Vy and Thang to pursue this interesting job.

“Before we go anywhere, we often go online to find out what we will enjoy. Therefore, when embarking upon this job, we all share honestly so that everyone can enjoy delicious yet cheap dished in Da Nang ”, Ha Vy expressed.

Thanks to their influence on social media, Vy and Thang often receive many invitations from restaurants to try their signature dishes. The restaurant prepares dishes, the duo take photos, enjoy and give objective reviews. Actually, this job needs meticulousness, and above all, food arrangement is quite important so that many beautiful and attractive photos are taken in an effective manner.

Besides, the assessment also needs to be objective to suit many types of customers. Both often jokingly say that the food blogger profession is suitable for easy-going people because they are willing to experience dishes in the most complete and authentic manner.

In addition to Nothingtoeat, Ryanfoodaholic run by bank employee Nguyen Tien Dung, 26, is also a popular name in the Da Nang’s Food Blogger community. Dung's Ryanfoodaholic account has a social reach of 50,000 followers on Instagram. In the early days of acting as a Food Blogger, he was strongly opposed by his family because he often ate out.

It was not until Dung was lucky enough to be invited by VTV8 for joining a culinary show that his family had a different perspective and greatly supported him.

Stemming from a passion for food and love for Da Nang, both Nothingtoeat and Ryanfoodaholic operate for the sake of introducing delicious food and attractive tourist sites of Da Nang to everyone near and far.

“In Da Nang, Food Blogger profession is not yet popular and growing. Therefore, I want to create a stronger food review community as an active move to help promote the unique features of Da Nang's culinary culture” Dung said.
