In detail, over the 2021 – 2022 period, the two above-mentioned companies will jointly implement the artistic lighting for Nguyen Van Troi pedestrian bridge spanning the iconic Han River, in tandem with upgrading the current lighting systems on four other bridges, namely Thuan Phuoc, Song Han (Han River), Tran Thi Ly and Rong (Dragon).
Focus will be on increasing the brightness, replacing the lighting control systems, improving the wiring and signaling systems, replacing old lights with new good-quality ones, adjusting the lighting and implementing related tasks.
Besides, the two companies are expected to make plans for creating landscape architecture along the both banks of the Han River and riverside parks associated with sufficient public utility services.
According to General Director of the Da Nang Public Lighting JSC Nguyen Dinh Hung, the project will feature the connection between artistic lighting systems of the bridges via Interact Landmark software applications which are specifically designed to bring together connected lighting systems and the data that those systems collect with other IoT solutions.
Once completed, the ‘River of Light’ project is highly expected to bring a more attractive look to the Han River as well as elevate the city’s capacity in artistic urban lighting.
