As observed by Khue Trung Ward’s functional forces, at around 10:00 am on Friday, WonderLand were serving some dine-in customers on the spot, which was in contravention with its notice board saying “Only takeaways and delivery accepted”
The ward's authorities have already forced the temporary shutdown of the coffee shop and booked the coffee shop with a record of administrative violations.
WonderLand is expected to be fined VND10 million – VND 20 million for its acts going against the municipal government-mandated COVID-19 prevention and control regulations.
Previously, the Da Nang government imposed a ban on May 7 on table services in food and beverage (F&B) brick-and-mortar establishments across the city, with only takeaway and home delivery services allowed, in a bid to curb the further spread of the virus in the community.
According to the Da Nang Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, by the end of May 27, more than VND 1.1 billion had been imposed on 442 cases of violating the COVID-19 prevention and control regulations.
