As per recent request by the Da Nang government, the so-called ‘One door- one test’ for COVID-19 campaign will be conducted for the remaining 50% of the city’s total families as part of the government's drive to curb the spread of the virus.

Medical staff in Son Tra District take swab samples for COVIS-19 testing for families in Nai Hien Dong Ward on May 18.

The programme aims to early detect those who are at the greatest risk of contracting COVID-19, in order to quickly isolate them and trace their contacts to stop virus spreading.

The district-level People's Committees must make lists of families that have yet to be subject to the ‘One door- one test’ approach and the exact number of people expected to have their swab samples taken for COVID-19 testing.

Previously, a total of over 65,000 local families joined the ‘One door- one test’ programme between May 18 to 21.
