Da Nang imposes fines of VND 1 million - VND 3 million for failing to comply with COVID-19 testing order
The Da Nang government will impose administrative penalties for failing to comply with COVID-19 testing order, the Da Nang Department of Justice announced on Thursday morning.
Between VND 1 million and VND 3 million will be imposed on those who fail to comply with COVID-19 testing order issued by competent health authorities under the Infectious Diseases Act.
Recovered COVID-19 patients who fail to register for health monitoring at their places of residence after being discharged from hospital will carry a fine of between VND 1 million and VND 3 million under the Act to provide for the prevention of the spread of infectious and contagious diseases caused by group A streptococcal infections.
In addition, strictest penalities will be applied to those who have caught breaching the city’s COVID-19 rules, depending on the severity of the offense under Viet Nam’s national government’s Decree No. 117/2020/ND-CP.
