Da Nang to consider lifting ban on certain essential services
In his remarks at Da Nang People’s Committee’s regular meeting on Wednesday morning, Chairman Le Trung Chinh said this afternoon, May 26, the municipal Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control will consider lifting a ban on certain essential services, depending on the COVID-19 situation in the city while ensuring good practice of preventive measures and the 5K recommendations of Vietnamese Ministry of Health, namely khau trang (facemask), khu khuan (disinfection), khoang cach (distance), khong tu tap (no gathering), and khai bao y te (health declaration)..

At the meeting, Chairman Chinh reviewed the city's socio-economic development over the past five months.
Mr Chinh highlighted huge efforts by the Da Nang government, the municipal Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, the entire political system to bring the COVID-19 outbreak under control.
Chairman Chinh remarked that the elections for the 15th National Assembly (NA) and People's Council at all levels for the 2021-2026 tenure were conducted successfully across 525 polling stations in Da Nang on May 23 with 99.90% of the voters in the city casting their ballots on the Election Day.
Authorities at all levels and relevant agencies and businesses have fully complied with Da Nang government’s guidelines to promote socio-economic development amid these challenging times.
In addition, the Da Nang government has provided active support for businesses in the city to overcome their difficulties triggered by COVID-19 to yield positive results over the past 5 months.
