Eight more COVID-19 patients in Da Nang discharged from hospital

Eight people were discharged from the Da Nang Lung Hospital and the Hoa Vang District Medical Centre on Monday after being treated for COVID-19.

The recoveries are a 31 year- old woman, a 31 year-old man, a 61 year- old man, a 25 year-old man, a 24 year- old woman, a 31 year- old woman, a 29 year-old man, and a 45 year- old woman who has underlying health conditions: hypertension, vestibular disorders, type 2 diabetes, and gastritis.

All of them were given the all-clear following thrice consecutive negative test results, and they show overall stable status, vital signs, normal organ function and improved chest X-ray readings.

After discharge, the eight recovered patients will undergo a-14 day self- isolation at home under close monitoring of local authorities and health workers at their places of residence in line with the Ministry of Health’s regulations.
