One more COVID-19 patient in Da Nang discharged from hospital

One more patient has been given all-clear from coronavirus following thrice Covid-19 tests. The discharged patient is the second cured case so far in the city since it saw a new wave of COVID-19 infections in early May, the Da Nang Department of Health has announced.

The recovered woman left the Da Nang Lung Hospital on Saturday morning after she had made a full recovery from the illness, and she is no longer contagious as she no longer suffer from fever, cough and shortness of breath, the hospital's doctors said.

The completed-cured patient is a 25-year-old woman who is living in the 12T3 Apartment Building on Bui Duong Lich Street, Son Tra District. She works in the New Phuong Dong Night Club which was one of active clusters in Da Nang. She became the 3087th COVID-19 patient in Viet Nam on May 6.

The woman has received treatment at the Lung Hospital since May 6.

The close monitoring of the recovered woman will be put in place during her 14-day self- quarantine period at her place of residence following the Health Ministry’s guidelines after she is back in her own home.
