Three more coronavirus patients discharged from Da Nang Lung Hospital
Three more COVID-19 patients, who were being treated at the Da Nang Lung Hospital, were discharged on Tuesday morning, after their reports tested negative thrice.

The three persons are the 3,396th , 3,397th , 3,398th COVID-19 patients in Viet Nam, and they were linked to a postive case detected at the AMIDA Beauty Salon.
They are members of the same household. They had tested positive for the virus on May 9. Later they were shifted to the Da Nang Lung Hospital for treatment.
All of them were given the all-clear following thrice consecutive negative test results on May 19, 22 and 24, and they show overall stable status, vital signs, normal organ function and improved chest X-ray readings.
The close monitoring of these patients will be put in place during their 14-day self- quarantine period at their home following the Health Ministry’s guidelines, as a means of ensuring there is no possibility of the virus recurring or being transmitted among the wider community.
Doctor Le Thanh Phuc, Director of the Da Nang Lung Hospital said a combined total of 84 COVID-19 patients, including imported cases, have been treated at the hospital after Da Nang braced for the new coronavirus wave in early May. Till date, 5 of them were discharged from hospital after their tests resulted negative, and one critically ill coronavirus patient died.
Currently, two critically ill COVID-19 patients are on ventilator support at the Da Nang Lung Hospital.
In addition, 69 COVID-19 patients are being treated at the Hoa Vang District Medical Centre. As of May 24, 8 out of the patients at the hospital had tested negative once, while tests on 7 others came back negative twice.
