Additional three COVID-19 patients released from Hoa Vang District Medical Centre

Three more coronavirus patients were discharged from Hoa Vang District Medical Centre on Wednesday afternoon after testing negative three times.

The three persons are a 21 year- old, a 38 year- old, and a 25 year- old women. All of them live in Da Nang.

The 21 year- old woman was hospitalised with coronavirus on May 9 and the rest were admitted to hospital on May 17.

All patients’ clinical status is appropriate for discharge and assessed to have stable and recovering respiratory function.

After discharge, the three recovered patients will undergo a-14 day self- isolation at home under close monitoring of local authorities and health workers at their places of residence in line with the Ministry of Health’s regulations.

Doctor Nguyen Dai Vinh, Director of the Hoa Vang District Medical Center said that a total of 72 locally transmitted cases have been admitted to the hospital since early May outbreak, of which, 22 cases have been already discharged after making a full recovery from the illness.
