COVID-19 prevention checkpoints along Da Nang-Quang Nam linking routes taken down
Following fresh approval made by the Quang Nam Provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, all arrivals to this province from the neighbouring city of Da Nang are now permitted without being subject to medical quarantine measures.
All checkpoints for COVID-19 prevention and control set up along linking routes between the two localities have been taken down. Here is an image of a checkpoint set up on a section of the Da Nang-Quang Nam coastal linking route. Photo: THANH LAN |
Quang Nam Province’s positive move came amid the encouraging fact that Da Nang has gone through 21 consecutive days without domestically-transmitted cases.
On June 10 evening, all checkpoints for COVID-19 prevention and control set up along linking routes between the two localities were completely dismantled.
The Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee has also allowed inter-provincial traffic activities with Da Nang in the new normal to resume their operations.
