The sampling, taken in a prompt fashion against the time, came after a 59-year- old man living in Thac Gian Ward and working as a security guard at the Duy Tan Plastic Company located at 145 Dien Bien Phu Street, Chinh Gian Ward, had tested positive for the virus.

Sampling was requested by the Da Namg Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control to urgently localize and assess the earliest risks, thereby offering solutions suitable to reality. Amidst the city’s mercury remaining as high as 40 degree Celsius, getting dressed in stuffy protective suits, the staff members were still on track to “go to every alley, knock on every door, track every subject” in a bid to curb the spread of the deadly virus in the community.
