Doctors and nurses from Da Nang leave for Bac Giang Province to help the fight against COVID-19
The C Hospital in Da Nang on Tuesday noon held a farewell ceremony for 6 doctors and nurses who leave the city for the northern province of Bac Giang, the worst-hit locality in Viet Nam, to help it in the battle against COVID-19 in response to an appeal issued by the Ministry of Health.

Doctor Nguyen Trong Thien, the Director of the C Hospital, said that many medical workers from the hospital have signed up as volunteers to support Bac Giang Province to tackle COVID-19 after receiving the Ministry of Health’s appeal on Monday evening.
As a result, two doctors and four nurses from the C Hospital’s intensive care unit have been choosen to support the worst-hit locality.

“We hope that all of our dispatched medical workers will contribute their efforts for Bac Giang Province to have the COVID-19 situation under control. The departure date has been set but the return date is still unknown. I hope all of you stay healthy and fufill your assigned tasks.", said Director Thien.
On behalf of the dispatched medical team from the C Hospital, doctor Phan Van Chung remarked: “We vow to try our best to fulfill our assigned task, contribute little effort to Bac Giang Province to fight COVID-19.”
Earlier on Monday, ten doctors and nurses from Da Nang General Hospital left for Bac Giang Province to help it tackle COVID-19.

Dr. Le Duc Nhan, the Director of the Da Nang General Hospital said: “Our dispatched medical workers experience in dealing with coronavirus pandemic, especially the most common medical emergencies. They will work at Bac Giang- based Psychiatric Hospital where critically ill patients with COVID-19 are being treated. Their trip to the worst-hit locality can take a long time and their return date is not known. All of the dispatched medical team members are determined to do their utmost within their potential and capabilities to help Bac Giang to have the COVID-19 outbreak under control."
