Eleven more patients in Da Nang given coronavirus all-clear, including a 1-year-old boy

Eight more people in Da Nang, including a 1 year-old boy, have been given their medical all clear after COVID infections. They left the Da Nang Lung Hospital on Thursday morning after making a full recovery from the illness.

The recovered patients are a 10 year-old girl, a 1 year- old boy, a 34 year-old woman, a 30 year- old woman, a 27 year-old woman, a 6 year- old boy, a 25 year-old man, a 23 year-old woman. All of them live in Da Nang.

In a similar vein, three more coronavirus patients were discharged from the Hoa Vang District Medical Center on Thursday afternoon.

The recoveries are a 2 year-old boy, a 31 year-old man, and a 50 year- old man, and all of them are residents of Da Nang.

Dr. Nguyen Dai Vinh, Director of the Hoa Vang District Medical Centre, said that that a total of 73 locally transmitted cases have been admitted to the hospital since early May outbreak, of which, 26 cases have been already discharged after treament.

All of the eleven people were given the all-clear following three consecutive negative test results, and they show overall stable status, vital signs, normal organ function and improved chest X-ray readings.

After discharge, the eleven recoveries will undergo a-14 day self- isolation at home under close monitoring of local authorities and health workers at their places of residence in line with the Ministry of Health’s regulations.
