Enforcing compliance with COVID-19 rules in Da Nang
Da Nang People's Committee Vice Chairman Le Quang Nam asked district authorties across the city to play a vital role in explaining COVID-19 rules to their communities, encouraging them to comply, and enforcing regulations applying to individuals and businesses while chairing a meeting on Thursday afternoon to discuss response efforts to COVID-19 in the new normal.

Da Nang on Thursday reported no new confirmed case of coronavirus in a 24-hour period, and the city has gone 30 straight days without recording any local transmissions.
The Da Nang government is considering additional easing of COVID-19 restrictions with look thoroughly at the advice from relevant agencies.
Vice Chairman Nam warned officials and the public across the city not to become complacent in living with the threat of COVID-19 amid the complex development of the pandemic in the country.
Mr Nam directed the functional forces to have responsibility for enforcing and overseeing compliance of the 5K recommendations of the Ministry of Health, market entry restrictions and prevention meaures around each invididuals in the city.
The city leader asked district authories and their local police to work closely to drive compliance with COVID-19 regulations in high-risk settings, especially food and drink establishments. Strictest penalties should be imposed for non-adherence to the recommended prevention measures to stay safe during the pandemic.
Vice Chairman Nam also highlighted the significance of tightening controls at all points of entry to Da Nang to keep coronavirus out of the city.
