The Deputy PM made the request based on the business community's proposals that have been collected by the Private Economic Development Research Board under the Advisory Council for Administrative Procedure Reform, aiming to deal with difficulties facing enterprises amid the pandemic.

Ministries, cities and provinces should report obstacles to the implementation work to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, he said.

According to the board, businesses proposed the Government extend the priority list in the national vaccine rollout to foreign experts who are in charge of business activities of firms and foreign countries in Viet Nam, and the shots could be paid by themselves or the companies instead of being given for free like other priority groups.

The experts travel frequently and face a high risk of infections. However, they haven't been inoculated in their respective countries as they live and work in Viet Nam.

The initiative is expected to contribute to COVID-19 prevention and control while promoting investment and trade in the country.
