The Da Nang-based Disaster Mitigation Community Fund on Wednesday donated 20 mobile, automated disinfection machines and 2,000 litres of antiseptic disinfectant liquid worth a total of VND240 million to the northern provinces of Bac Giang and Bac Ninh which are amongst the hardest-hit Vietnamese localities amid the current COVID-19 resurgence.

This was a move to help these localities curb the spread of the deadly virus in the community as soon as possible.

The donated mobile disinfection devices use disinfectant solution from “made- in- Japan’ PG-3.0 sterilization water generator. The devices were assembled by Da Nang-located volunteer group No. 687.

Each device integrates an automatic sensor system to limit exposure and set up the reasonable misting timing suitable for the practical need in hospitals and concentrated medical quarantine and isolation sites.

Meanwhile, the antiseptic disinfectant liquid, developed by the Pasteur Institute in Ho Chi Minh City, has a capacity of killing 99.99% of the detected bacteria, thus ensuring the safety of both human health and the environment.
