The woman, a resident of Cam Le District, had received treatment for the coronavirus at the Da Nang Lung Hospital since May 8.
Her hospital discharge came after her tests turning negative for COVID-19 thrice on May 28, May 30 and June 1.
She has made a full recovery from the illness with an overall stable status, normal organ function and improved chest X-ray readings, the hospital’s doctors said.
Upon discharge, the full-recovered patient is still subject to 14-day self- isolation at home under the close monitoring of local authorities and health workers at their places of residence in line with the Ministry of Health’s regulations.
Da Nang has registered 157 COVID-19 patients since May 3 when the current COVID-19 wave started hitting it, of whom 42 were completed cured.
