Presenting gifts to children with COVID- 19 and close contacts of positive cases on their special day
Leaders of the Da Nang Party Committee Office on Tuesday afternoon visited and presented gifts to 85 children who are being treated for COVID-19 in local hospitals, and are being placed under quarantine in designated facilities due to links with infected patients for the occasion of International Children’s Day (1 June).

During their visits to hospitals and designated quarantine facilities , leaders of the Da Nang Party Committee Office extended their greetings and encouragement to children with COVID-19 and close contacts of positive cases. They wished them a speedy recovery, all the best, stay safe and healthy, in order to return to their families after being treated for COVID-19 or completing their quarantine period. Party Committee Office also took the opportunity to urge medical workers to do their utmost to treat children with Covid-19 in a bid to help them make a full recovery from the illness.

Currently, 7 children are being treated for COVID-19 at the Da Nang Lung Hospital while 12 others are under treatment at the Hoa Vang District Medical Centre. In addition, a combined total of 66 children who are close contacts of positive cases are being placed under quarantine in designated facilities: 4 in Hoa Vang District, 4 in Son Tra District, 46 in Thanh Khe District, 8 in Ngu Hanh Son District, 1 in each Cam Le District and Lien Chieu District, 3 in Hai Chau District.
