15 ambulance service workers in Da Nang dispatched to HCMC to fight against COVID-19
The Da Nang Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control on Tuesday held a farewell ceremony for 15 doctors and nurses from the Da Nang Emergency Centre 115 who are dispatched to Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), the worst-hit locality in Viet Nam, to help it tackle the pandemic ravaging there.

Municipal People's Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh praised the dispatched medical workers for their willingness to contribute their efforts for HCMC to fight COVID-19. He also said that he hopes all of them stay healthy and fufill your assigned tasks.
The dispatched medical team consists of 2 doctors, 5 nurses and 8 drivers along with 5 fully equipped ambulances. They departed from Da Nang at 4:30pm on Tuesday and expect to arrive in HCMC in the morning of July 21.
The dispatched ambulance service workers will join their colleagues in HCMC for transporting primary close contacts of confirmed cases under the instructions from local health agency.
“Our dispatched medical workers experience in dealing with coronavirus pandemic, especially the most common medical emergencies. All of the dispatched medical team members will do their utmost within their potential and capabilities to help HCMC to have the COVID-19 outbreak under control," said Doctor Tran Cong Thong, the Director of the Da Nang Emergency Centre 115.
