17 new positive cases detected in Da Nang

Da Nang recorded 17 more COVID-19 cases on July 12, Monday, the municipal Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control said.
In particular, 13 out of the aforementioned patients were the close contacts of an infected man residing in Hoa Xuan Ward, Cam Le District, who was confirmed to have contracted the virus on July 10.
The remaining ones returned from Ho Chi Minh City on July 4 on flight VN0128, already kept under mandatory quarantine at a hotel located on Vo Nguyen Giap Street. They tested negative for the virus for the first time on July 5.
From June 18 to 3:00pm on July 12, Da Nang recorded 115 COVID-19 cases.
