Following the decision by the Da Nang Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, a total of 34 hotels offering 3,005 rooms and 5,155 beds have been accredited as designated quarantine sites for people entering and returning to Da Nang from COVID-19 affected areas.

As part of the protocols set by the Da Nang Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, all arrivals and returnees from affected areas will have to undergo mandatory quarantine for 21 days in an accredited hotel, and they must pay for it.

Currently, arrivals and returnees can choose their quarantine hotel in Da Nang from the list of first three hotels recommended by the municipal Department of Tourism. If these hotels are fully occupied, the next three hotels will be introduced to arrivals and returnees for quarantine booking. All accredited quarantine hotels must make the necessary arrangements for their guests from the airport or the railway station to their places to stay with proper precautions recommended by the Department of Health in place during transportation. The focus is paid on deploying guards at the quarantine hotels to ensure the security, setting up assistance hotlines , immediately notifying people with symptoms of COVID-19 to get tested for the virus during their stay in mannaged isolation, and staying compliant with COVID-19 rules.
