A wet market under Nguyen Kim Electronic Supermarket suspends its operations due to possible COVID-19 exposure

Authorities in Chinh Gian Ward, Thanh Khe District, Da Nang has forced a wet market under the Nguyen Kim Electronic Supermarket to temporarily suspend its operational activities starting from 0am on July 2 until further notice.

The new regulation came after a new locally acquired case that was detected in the evening of July 1 has visited this venue.

A total of more than 400 stall holders had their swab samples taken to test for the virus on Friday morning. They are asked to stay at home and self-isolate while waiting for their test results.

Medical workers has already carried out disinfectant sprays in this venue for the prevention of COVID-19. Guards have been deployed to this site to preventing any person from entering this area.

Those who have been to the announced sites exposed to this coronavirus case are urging to contact their nearest medical facilities for what to do.
